Carrying on the legacy of our founding father—the inventor of dual-learning, Ferdinand von Steinbeis—Steinbeis SMI stands for knowledge transfer and innovation at the interface between science and business, and prides itself on its visionary learning formats.

We offer prospective students BA, MA, MBA, MBE and MSc study programs that cover the fundamentals of economics, technology, engineering and leadership management. In a world that is constantly changing, we know how important it is to move with the times and evolve at a pace that impacts the fast lives of our students, which is why we have injected the most recent innovations in online-based learning systems into our teaching methods.

Thanks to our established online model, you can start studying now from the comfort of your own home and decide later (COVID-19 permitting!) whether you want relocate to Germany and finish in one of our schools. Choose to study at our Berlin campus, located in the trendy metropolis of Charlottenburg, in Stuttgart, where we are based conveniently near the airport, or at our Munich school, which—similarly to Berlin—is in the centre of one of the hippest districts in the city. Of course, we also provide the option for you to complete your degree 100 percent remotely.

No matter how you choose to design your study path, you’ll gain access to a world of professional opportunities through Steinbeis SMI’s extensive network of over 200 industry partners around the globe. We’re all about gaining global perspectives here, which is why we encourage our students to also participate in our optional international study trips. We collaborate with the world’s leading business schools, like the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, SDA Bocconi in Milan, IDC Herzliya in Tel Aviv and Kaospilots in Aarhus, to open our students up to even more contacts and give them the best insight possible into what to expect in their future careers.

As the Steinbeis University School of Management and Innovation is part of the Steinbeis Foundation, we are also able to offer partial tuition scholarships through the Steinbeis Scholarship Fund. Based on academic merit and outstanding interpersonal skills, you could save up to 50% on your chosen study program. This initiative is open to everyone—no matter your educational or vocational background.
