Join our brand-new master’s program to study Industry 4.0 and IoT engineering at Steinbeis University.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is unfolding at a speed never seen before in history. Combining digital, physical and biological systems, it is transforming life as we know it.

In response to the disruption seen across almost every industry, engineers of the future will be faced with the exponential growth of data and digital tools, including robots, collaborative robots (or cobots), connected objects, communication systems and data centers.

Built on a solid foundation of cutting-edge research, our curriculum focuses on a core grounding in data science and analytics in combination with three fields of study:

  • Digitalization and the integration of vertical and horizontal value chains
  • Digitalization and the integration of product and service offerings
  • Digital business models and customer access

 

However, we know that the skill set of the future is not just based on knowledge. Leadership and communication skills are essential to successfully implement IoT strategies and concepts. That’s why our program also covers non-technical topics such as creative thinking, problem-solving, communication and agile project management. Along with providing a deep understanding of markets, customer access and digital business models, the Steinbeis Industry 4.0 program will set you up to be uniquely prepared for this new world of industry.

As part of the Steinbeis Foundation, Steinbeis University is able to offer partial tuition scholarships of up to 50% for accepted students who show academic merit and interpersonal skills. Scholarships are allocated based on motivation, personal and professional achievements, and academic excellence. Scholarships will be awarded to candidates from any academic or vocational background.
